Word limit trap

Question: "The lecturer recommends using ___" — NO MORE THAN 2 WORDS. Audio: "You should definitely use high-quality lithium-ion batteries in this device."

→ "high-quality lithium-ion batteries" = 3 từ (hyphenated counts as 1) hoặc 4 từ? Đáp án expected: "lithium-ion batteries" (2 từ — drop "high-quality" because it's adjective phrase, not core noun).

Rules chọn từ

Rule 1: Match grammar of sentence

Điền vào blank phải tạo câu grammatical:

• "Students should bring a ___ to the lab" → cần singular noun (a + ...)
• → "laboratory notebook" (không phải "notebooks")

Rule 2: Prefer noun phrase

Khi audio có cả modifier + noun, ưu tiên noun + 1 important modifier:

• Audio: "the small, portable, lightweight digital scanner"
• 2 từ: "digital scanner" (drop subjective adjectives)

Rule 3: Use exact words from audio

KHÔNG paraphrase. Audio nói "renewable energy sources" → ghi đúng "renewable energy sources" (không phải "green energy").
