2. Passage mẫu

Đây là một passage ngắn (dưới 500 từ) để bạn làm quen với cách đọc và tìm đáp án. Passage thật trong bài thi dài hơn (khoảng 900 từ), nhưng cách làm giống hệt.

A
Many people believe that having a daily routine is necessary for success in study and work. A routine helps you organise your time so that you can revise what you learned, complete your tasks, and still have time to enjoy life. Students who follow a weekly plan are more active learners because they know exactly what to do each day. For example, spending 30 minutes every morning reading aloud in English can improve your speaking skills much faster than studying for three hours only once a week.

B
However, some researchers argue that routines can become boring if they are too strict. When people do the same thing at the same time every day, they may lose enjoyment and feel that learning is a series of repeated actions. Dr Helen Ross, a psychologist at Manchester University, suggests that routines should include at least one or two enjoyable activities to keep motivation high. She explains that students should write down what they want to achieve each week, but they do not need to translate every single task into a fixed time slot.

C
Creating a good routine does not have to be difficult. The first tip is to make a note of all your regular commitments, such as classes, work, or dates with friends. Then, look at the time left and decide how much you can spend on study. It is unnecessary to fill every hour with work. In fact, taking breaks is as important as studying itself. Many students mix up 'being busy' with 'being productive', but sitting at a desk for hours without focus is often just an awful waste of time.

D
Once you have a plan, stick to it for at least two weeks before making changes. This gives you time to see what works and what does not. If you forget to follow your routine on one day, do not worry — just continue the next day. Remember that a routine is a tool to help you, not a dreadful rule you must obey. The key is to find a balance between structure and flexibility so that you can enjoy your daily activities while still making progress towards your goals.
