Nowadays many people think children should learn foreign language at primary school. Other people think secondary school is better. I will discuss both sides of an argument in this essay.

Some people believe young children learn language easier. Their brain is very good at learning new things, children can remember words fast. In addition, they have more time to practice. If they start early, they will speak very well when they grow up.

On the other hand, some people think secondary school students is better. Because they already know how to study, they can understand grammar and they can focus more. In the past, most students start learning English in secondary school, they still can speak English well.

In my opinion I think children should start at primary school. Because the earlier they start, the better they will be. Young children are good at speaking and pronunciation. However secondary school students can learn grammar better, but speaking is more important than grammar.

In conclusion, both sides have good points. I believe that starting at primary school is the best way for children to learn a foreign language.
