Bài này gom 12 mục từ vựng paraphrase cho dạng đề Map · Bản đồ 🗺️ của IELTS Writing Task 1 — tổng 91 từ/cụm + 31 câu ví dụ minh hoạ.

Cách dùng: dùng Ctrl+F để tìm nhanh từ phù hợp với dạng bài đang viết. Đừng học thuộc hết — chỉ chọn 5-7 từ tâm đắc cho mỗi mục, ghi vào sổ và tự đặt 1 câu ví dụ.

1. Miêu tả vị trí

Ví dụ 1: The coffee shop is located/situated in the centre of the city.

Ví dụ 2: The secondary school is located to the north of the river.

Ví dụ 3: A river stood in the South-Eastern corner of the village.

2. Miêu tả sự phá hủy, biến mất

Ví dụ 1: The school disappeared.

Ví dụ 2: The school was demolished/ destroyed/ knocked down.

Ví dụ 3: The trees was cleared/ chopped down/ cut down.

3. Miêu tả sự xuất hiện, xây mới

Ví dụ 1: A new hospital was built/was constructed/was erected next to the park.

Ví dụ 2: A new hospital appeared next to the park.

4. Miêu tả sự thay đổi về kích cỡ

Ví dụ 1: Between 2001 and 2006, the park was slightly expanded/ extented/ widened to the South.

Ví dụ 2: The restaurant was dramatically narrowed by 1993.

Ví dụ 3: The railway line was slightly shortened from 1990 to 2000.

Ví dụ 4: During the following 5 years, the street was significantly lengthened.

5. Miêu tả sự thay thế

Ví dụ 1: The swimming pool was demolished to make way for a new block.

Ví dụ 2: The swimming pool was demolished and replaced by a new block.

Ví dụ 3: A new block was built to replace the swimming pool.

Ví dụ 4: A new block was built on the original site of the swimming pool.
