In many countries, a growing number of school leavers are choosing apprenticeships in trades such as electrical work, plumbing and IT support instead of going to university. Some people see this as a sensible route into the job market, while others believe that a university degree is still the wiser investment for the future.

Discuss both views and give your own opinion.
